It's that time of the year again; when people finally step up, go all out on presents, heart-shaped cards and the likes.. And when they finally collect all their guts to tell the one they've been chasing for so long about how they feel about them.

Pff, yeah right!

For me, Valentine's day is just another day.. Nothing special about it! It just reminds me again and again that I will spend the rest of my life being single .w.' Nah I'm kidding.

But let's look at it this way; would you rather have someone giving you something on Valentine's day, or on some random day during the year when you least expect it? I'd go for the latter. I like the surprise, and Valentine's day is such a hype (there I go being terribly hipster again!) that it totally lost my interest.

I know I've been nagging on about it way before it even was Valentine's day.. But people were already starting to annoy me with the whole thing .w.' People, please have spontaneous, romatic outburts when your partner/lover/crush doesn't expect you to! Do something amazingly special when you feel like it and surprise the crap out of them!

As for people who're calling it Single awareness day or rather foreveralone day.. I love you! You guys feel my pain ;w;! For me, Valentine's day will never be more than just a normal day in Febuary.

(The only good thing about V-day is the immense amount of fanart/fanfiction we get spread around LJ, dA and Tumblr ;w;)
